Ecosia is the search engine that plants trees. Get on Ecosia and be climate active every day: www.ecosia.org/

Welcome to episode 39 of Ecosia’s Tree Updates! This time around, we asked Arup to tell you about your trees. He’s from the team at Symagine Solutions, our tree-planting partners in South-East India. The trees you help us plant here are restoring the Sundarbans, a unique ecosystem that lies between India and Bangladesh and that holds the largest mangrove forest in the world.

We wanted you to appreciate the beauty of this place, so we went for a 360 view of this unique ecosystem. Enjoy the trip!

HEY GANG! This one's a bit of a different episode. Do let us know what you think. Experiments like this one: yay 👍🏼 or nay 👎🏾? As usual, also let us know what you appreciated most, give Arup & Symagine some love and THANKS FOR BEING HERE ✨

I believe that organizations like yours will be doing more to help this planet than our leaders are right now and likely in the future. I'm glad to use your search engines.

Fruit for local people, less carbon dioxide and more oxygen for everyone on the planet - these are 3 very good reasons to support Ecosia 👍 Greetings from Germany to all supporters worldwide 🌳

Great job Ecosia! I am a middle schooler and use Ecosia on my laptop. Great to see my simple, but significant contributions going to climate action, more than COP28. Thanks for taking action! #climateaction

Ich finde es toll, in anderen Bereichen der Welt der Natur und den dort lebenden Menschen zu helfen. I appreciate it very much to support nature and to help people in other parts of the world. Es sollte davon noch viel mehr geben! There should be much more of this!
  • As an Indian I really appreciate your work in West Bengal, India. Love you Ecosia ❤

The 360 really helps grasp the kind of work done using Ecosia. You can really get a sense of what trees they plant.
  • @wflemo8028
I love the work Ecosia do 😊 and I hope to see more work with local communities I just wish there was more of a platform for grass-root projects such as this and work of others such as mossy earth and ocean cleanup to work and share their efforts more easily
  • As a disabled person who finds it hard to get into nature this was so nice to feel like i was exploring. I love the explanations from team and local partners too but even just a 360 with our trees and nature sounds would be a nice place to spend time
  • I live in Kolkata, West Bengal, a few hours drive from Sunderbans. I've visited the place once, and it is truly breathtaking. Happy to know the place will be even more beautiful than the last time I visited.

The more diverse the tree planting projects, the more likely we will succeed. Planting trees is just the beginning. We have to change the way we use them and how we live. The enthusiasm shown by Arup is very likely to spread as more trees are planted, and more people look after them. Excellent work.

Okay. This is a whole different experience. Do more episodes in 360. Or if you can do AR in future. That’ll be amazing too
  • @jankluge4624
