"Oh was that too mean? For Kevin Spacey?" I love that he just goes after it with no shame. Kudos, less powerful Seth!
-
For a split second, Willem Dafoe thought : "... They found the body..."
-
“he’ll be back in 20 years when he becomes the first person ever booed during the in memoriam” that scene, GOLD.
-
The woman who brought the awards on for the sight gag was perfect. A tiny moment, into frame with perfect timing, size of reaction was just right and out of frame with perfect timing.
-
"Don't worry he'll be back in 20 years, when he becomes the first person ever booed during the in memoriam." 😂🤣
-
"Did you hear about Willem Dafoe?" "Oh god no." "He was nominated." "Don't do that."
-
The dude had a monumental task and did a stellar job.
-
2018 - the year where Ricky Gervais could have actually and literally destroyed Hollywood.
-
after learning that john mulaney helped with writing the jokes, i can really see it on rewatching the monologue.
-
The joke about "The Post" was great, and I loved the cut to Stephen Speilberg being embarrassed and Meryl Streep losing it laughing. 5:01
-
He looks like Daniel Craig and Ellen has a child
-
Omg that Weinstein In Memoriam joke was hilarious. Surprised this audience had a loud enough reaction lol
-
Poor guy had the WORST timing to host this show. I know he's not Ricky Gervais but he did pretty good with the situation Hollywood was in at that time.
-
When the lady came out with all the golden globes after he said Steven Spielberg, Meryl Streep, and Tom Hanks I literally died.
-
The Post joke was absolutely hilarious. Like a movie with all of those powerhitters had to win lol
-
So much talent in one room. All these people deserve an award. The acting is on point! Pretending to know nothing about the sexual abuse is the best performance ever.
-
The terrified look in William Dafoes eyes lmao
-
they knew that these were sensitive times, so they got the most neutral comedian, incorporated people from different background in the jokes, and called people up from times up movement to be seated next to the stars not gonna lie, i am impressed, i mean the person who planned this must have gotten a raise after that
-
The issue is, people have become so used to Ricky ROASTING Hollywood, they can't appreciate other styles of humor anymore. Seth was fantastic.
-
This host keeps everyone happy in the room, he stays away from the edge and that's what they like but we all know Ricky sets the place on fire
