Today I am walking through the process of zeroing the Holosun 507c-X2 on my pistol.

Solid info and easy to understand. I like how I could see the adjustment up close and that you turned it to move the impact (actually moves the dot the opposite).

Great video thanks. I appreciate showing how you adjusted the Holosun with how many clicks and which direction each time.

I just came across your video, nicely done, keep up the good work.
  • Remember your Holosun HE "Elite" comes with a 10yr warranty. I bought my HE 407c X2 green 2moa dot for $200 last year from Optics Planet (black Friday & Coupon code) HS or the "Standard" comes with a 3yr warranty. You don't hear much about this. They are basically the same without the circle dot which I wasn't using anyway.
  • This is a VERY good video super duper healthful explaining the process and all the gimmicks and problems that come with zeros !!

Thanks man I'm really not an optics guy ,but I'm going to give it a shot on my new platypus this was such a straight forward video again thank you

Great video! I just installed the 507C on my Glock 22 .40 S&W. It's a brand new gun as well, so knowing that it might change after 500 rounds is good to know. I've fired 200 rounds with it and haven't shot yet with the red dot sight. Thanks for making this content!

Just got a new subscriber. I have a Shield and a SD9VE. I have holusons for both but haven’t got them milled in yet. New gun owner and appreciate this video. Also I’m from CA so looking for another gun for my CCW. Like the way your gun looks bro!

I really enjoyed this video. You're a very calm shooter. Thanks for sharing and new sub here.
  • when zeroing any sight; laser or RDS use a bench rest and range finder for best accuracy. Eliminate human error. Every time you shoot standing there will always be variation and difficulty zeroing. Guns don't need to be broken in from the factory. They're accurate out of the box.

This follows my experience with new pistols. Whatever the reason, fire control, polymer, rails, screws etc etc, etc. or a combination of all... seems there is a "settling in" period.

When u sight in do you use a constant offset method( take into account the bore axis to the red dot height) Like a laser sight? This is my first red dot

I have the same Dot and light set up on a Glock 19 mos. love it

The close distance is like that those clicks don’t add up to a very much deviation for the point of impact. Most sites are like one MA per click at 100 yards or something. So if you’re only at 7 yards it’s going to take a lot more clicks to move at the same distance. You have to keep in mind if you’re an inch to the left at 7 yards you’re probably going to be 6 inches to the left at 100 yards or some other larger number. It’s a lot of clicks as the bottom line.
