  • Dr. Charles is truly amazing! He diagnosed the woman so easily. His knowledge of medicine and psychology makes him the best doctor on the show, in my opinion.

“Maggie…-“ “Already on it.” Love the ones that are attentive like this.

Even for a psych consult they are suppose to do blood work, EKG and at least check your vitals. Ive never heard of that not being done first, while waiting for a psych consult in the meantime.

I wish we could get a new season where all the OGs are back

Falsifying consent in this situation is the sort of thing that get's doctors permently disbarred, and is really stupid because there is a very simple procedure - an appointed guardian that would almost certainly agree with the decision to perform surgery. The issue here isn't some massive ethical dilemma, it's a surgeon with a God Complex that can't be bothered with "silly" rules that protect patients from abuse by arrogant doctors.

"Ollie" (Oliver Platt) has been my absolute favorite since the "new" BratPack of the '90s. What a gem of an actor , and from all accounts of a person as well.

My dad has that same heart pillow. Kinda brought back a memory.

They do surgery on people like this all the time if surgeons want to and it’s deemed “best” for them
  • The ending confused me. She was better from the antibiotics but forgot Dr. Charles? Wtf?
  • I'm kinda sad for Dr Charles that in the end, the patient doesn't remember him standing up to the surgeons for her.
  • The young doctor who messed up her diagnosis and just assumed that she was psychotic, he concerns me. Lol.

Oh wow that’s a first 😂 a small scene from here (who approved the surgery?) was in the clip I watched right before this! It was the one with Sarah and a patient needing shelter

Dr. Charles is right. She cannot consent and it’s not an emergency.
