Green crabs would make good fertilizer. Crab meal is a thing for home gardens. You can also eliminate bag limits in areas they are not native, and use them for fish bait. Just a thought.

Why the hell can't delicious king crab breed like crazy all over?

I live in a place where the green crabs are native and I must say, they are delicious! Boil them with some salt, hot sauce and bay leaf and you'll see. Also, the ones that are molting have a soft shell inside, they are used here as bait for fishing.

TWIMC: On the topic of invasive species. Never turn cute little goldfish loose in a lake or river. They're basically a type of carp that can grow enormous & voracious outside of a little bowl on one's table.
