1:24:55 for those who might not know, it didn’t matter whether Paul had the removal spell, since Steer Clear has an “at cast” clause, so it would’ve always dealt 4 damage here

First two games were nuts. 5 different 6 mana spells in a row. Crazy. Nice comeback though. U/B without ravens and campaign have been almost impossible to close for me. See you tomorrow.

"my opponents are playing 5-5-5-5-5 mana bases, why can't i do it?" this is funny, it reminds me of playing poker and watching opponents call down with flush draws and hit.

Whenever I feel like drafting instead I just watch today’s video. Saves me tons of gems.

I found UB crimes to be one of the best performing archetypes in the set, however, it can suffer from closing out. I've found 2 ways to do so effectively. Deepmuck Desparado plus Desperate Bloodseeker, mill for 5 every cast of the Bloodseeker, the more Bloodseekers and Desperados the better. Then into flyers, Sphinx if you can get them, Djinns also do work in end game. Int Campaign and card draw so you don't run out of gas. Obvs the more big rares and uncommons the better.

alot of your first few matches has been most of my experience this format which has really been discouraging tbh... a few 6-7 wins followed by back to back 0-3s really sucks

I've found Raven of Fell Omens to be critical in closing out games as UB (especially without Intimidation Campaign, but if Intimidation Campaign is your only real wincon you'll deck yourself in the mirror pretty often :/). Especially against the grindy GB and WB decks, the life total pressure of a flier + draining them helps stabilize and finish the game. (Of course they can remove it but then they're removing your 2 mana common instead of something else.)

Nice job scraping it out! Was wondering if you are able to mark out the drafting, deckbuilding, and matches out on the video. Loving the content paul and honestly I am super excited for MH3 to come out to see how you approach things there

Simple. Pull Bonny Pull in pack 3 and splash for it. Especially if you are in green with two green bombs.

30:25 is what really does my head in about this format. Not only did they give green the best creatures by far, they gave them premium protection, at common.

Mourner's Surprise over Reanimate might be the single most frustrating pick I have even seen.
