Robert Smiths voice is like a piece of crystal. It’s strong and beautiful and it feels like it could just shatter

My favorite The Cure song. Just absolutely magical.

I was 18. My wife was 16. We met on this song. Every year on our anniversary we play it in our bedroom. 32 years later and 5 kids still going strong. And I remember AOL. We didn't have to put the phone on the dialer

Music of the 80s is like wine, just gets better with age
  • @Nudiescorner
His voice is not from this Universe...it NEVER AGES...
  • I'm not typically an emotional person, but The Cure always floods me with feeling. Joy, sadness, regret, loss, optimism, longing, nostalgia, love, pain, everything. Overwhelming in the best sense of the word

Robert Smith is one of the best live performers, song writers, and musicians that ever lived.
  • I'm 67 yrs old and I'm so in love with this band. They totally capture my attention.
  • I saw them live yesterday, october 29th at age 41 for the first time in my life...Roberts voice didnt change at all. It was more than beautiful

at 14 , telling your parents you’re invited staying the night over at your best friends ,them all saying the same thing to theirs , meating with your bunch of friends at the station , take the train for 300 miles to go and see their concert, coming back next day morning , getting back home in the afternoon , parents saying did you have a nice time , me : yeah we just listened to music all night long ...to this day my parents still don’t know the truth ... great moments

I have heard this song hundreds of times and it still sends shivers down my spine. The greatest pop song ever written.

I miss the late 80's and early 90's really bad. This is one of those songs that have that intangible and very powerful quality to instantly transport you back into time. This song is my Junior High School and High School years 87 to 93 that I despised and could not wait to be over with. This is the same time period I would do anything to go back to.

I still can't hear this song without tearing up after all these years.
