  • ATTENTION! I made a mistake by saying to set the Logo Brightnes to low, when it actually should be set to HIGH!

In my experience there is no need to shorten the auto-turn off time for avoiding tv burn in with a stuck image: the "fireworks" screensaver will auto start after a few minutes of stuck image.

I've had my 48" C1 since July and never noticed the plastic film on the back, I checked and it was still on, I've just removed it. Thanks, Paul. Without this video I would never have realised.
  • Thanks I just pulled the plastic off the back after 2 weeks of use. It was applied smooth with no bubbles so not surprised I missed it.
  • @HobbitHobbit
Just a quick thank you for this information. I was completely unaware of the plastic sheet on the back of the TV. Reviewing the instructions, I do not see it clearly stated on them which makes your video all the more valuable. I also agree with turning off auto updates as I would rather have a few real world testers before we experience the unexpected. Keep up the good work.

From Brazil here. Can't wait for my 65' C1 that i purchased one week ago !!! Thx for the reviews !
  • @MHenry-sb4dg
I rolled my eyes at the first tip of removing the plastic from the back....then realized I still had the plastic on the back of my C1! So thanks!

Can you make a video on the recommended settings for PS5 and Xbox series X for the LG C1 TV?
  • @ShawnLangford
Whoa this dude really is a Tech Giant and that deserves a sub. Thanks for the tips :) I have a 65" C1 making it's way to me now and this info is very helpful.
  • @EmeraldView
Just got a new LG OLED. Never thought I'd get such good advice from a giant! šŸ˜„

I have owned an oled c1 for a few months now. I just recently switched rooms and decided to recalibrate my tv settings. I was looking through youtube and found your channel and guess what? I never knew there was a screen protector on the back of the tv! Thank you!
  • @mattpreece2600

I bought my b9 back in 2019, and removed the foil like 2 weeks ago lol. Nothing happened thankfully, but the TV was indeed warm as hell, but I thought that was normal back then.
  • @johnfloore9799
Thank you so much! I had an lg A1 set up for a week now before I watched your video; turns out: I hadn't removed the plastic wrap from the back either!
  • @Alalyawi313
OMG! I can't believe I didn't notice the protector on the back of my LG C1! Very informative Thank You.. You deserve a like and definitely subscribed!
  • @RADERFPV
Hmm, my C2 didn't have the film on the back, only the front. I'm confident that it's a new set though, everything else was wrapped up in original packaging. Interesting.
  • Seriously m8. You have really good contents and to be honest I followed your steps showed in this video and I was really impressed with the outcome. Really glad that I found your channel. Lots of helpful videos. Thank you šŸ™
  • @skynesslexo3531
Hi Paul, thank you, I gained in brightness just by deactivating the eco mode !
