Last saw this with my dad many many years ago. I miss you dad.
  • I am 68 years old, I never knew about this film until today, precisely what caught my attention was the cast, great artists from the 60s and 70s. Applause for all of them.
  • Saw this with my Dad in Seattle in 1970, 54 years later it brings back great memories. Dad's passed now, makes me realise I still miss him. Strange while watching the acting is so clear, the acting so intelligent, the script so direct. So different from todays films. I love films from the 60's / 70's

Control room scenes were so well done, so well acted. Even the background actors. You could almost smell the overflowing ashtrays and cold coffee. Almost smell the tension they portray. This is art, folks.
  • I am 68. even you praise these great stars they are not on Earth to hear. What a loss😢

Out of the jumble of voices David Janssen's voice is instantly recognizable. A lot of big names in this cast. This is a good one for insomniacs. Nice and long, it took me days to see the whole thing with eyes open.

The difference in visual sophistication, interior and exterior design and overall technological aesthetics between Marooned and 2001 A Space Odyssey is astounding. Kubrick was so far ahead it's almost unfathomable that they were both made around the same time.

This is eerily appropriate to find this fifty year old movie in my recommendations the day that a defective Boeing spacecraft has stranded astronauts on the space station. Has the Youtube algorithm suddenly reached general intelligence, or did someone at Alphabet manually slip this in there?

That was quite the cast of actors & actresses they put together. Many of the best around at that time. 👍👍👍

In some ways, movies back then were better made than modern ones despite all high tech.

It's good to see this film has gained over 500k views, as it's pretty good.

The dialogue in the control room was spot on , excellent script, and some great acting.

This movie had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end! They really captured the feeling of losing oxygen and drifting off. Wow never heard about this gem until today!
  • @kevinpittman2517
their science advisers were top notch for this. some of the tech they used actually became real

Saw this in the theaters when it first came out. The Soviet Cosmonaut's appearance got a round of applause from the audience. Score 1 for detente. Pity that didn't last.

I remember watching this on Mystery Science Theater, with the jokes made about it. It wasn't a bad film, and I'm glad to be able to watch again.
