Afternoon all...sad day to be a Mountaineer 😢!! West Virginia, WVU Mountaineers and the NBA world have lossed a legend!! 'Zeke from Cabin Creek' aka 'Mr. Clutch', Jerry West has passed 😢😪 West was born into a poor household in Chelyan, West Virginia, on May 28, 1938. He was the fifth of six children of Cecil Sue West, a housewife, and Howard Stewart West, a coal mine electrician.
  • RIP to The GOAT GM, The logo, All time HOFer and all those who know him say he was a shy, humble nice guy.

A humble, gracious man. The Show Time docu-drama was an affront to the character of this gentleman.
  • Kobe and Jerry having a fun game of one-on-one in Heaven today.

Those losses to the Celtics tortured him through out his life particularly the 69 loss .But they don't matter He was a great player and more importantly a fine human being .
