Best easter egg for me is the fact that Bryan (cannonically a masochist in the Tekken series) has different animations (and can even gain a little health) from certain throws.

Rugal Bernstein and Wolfgang Krauser have an intro with each other in kof98UM because they both have the Kaiser Wave as a move and they start a match by shooting it at each other. The thing is They didn’t animate this intro. Instead of making them do animations they literally just made them do the moves at each other because krauser didn’t have an intro like this as he debuted after rugal died. Rugal also shoots his Kaiser wave first because it’s much slower to creat the illusion of them shooting them at the same time (if krauser shot earlier it would just snipe rugal because his has more start up). Because of this if you skip the intro during a specific time frame krauser will get hit but rugals Kaiser wave and start the match with less hp and farther away.

In Art of Fighting 3 if you play a character on their birthday they would have infinite meter.

i don’t remember if it’s blazblue calamity trigger or continuum shift, but if noel does a long enough combo on litchi she’ll say “your breasts are illegal!” melty blood type lumina also has one i like — if you win 10 times with red arcueid, her victory quote will have her return to her normal personality and say that the fights were “a great way to relieve stress”

In BlazBlue, Mai is a character with a unique sense of taste based on the feelings of the chef rather than the food itself. There are moments where she survives Noel’s infamous cooking as a result. This was incorporated into BBTAG’s gameplay so that Teddie’s Mystery Food X heals her instead of poisons her.

I like the easter egg in the Fist of the North Star fighting game where using Kenshiro's Hokuto Zankai Ken against Souther plays out like it does in the anime with Souther taunting Ken as the attack fails due to his Dextrocardia.

Adding onto Alex having specific command grab animations depending on height in TvC, his Heavy Flash Chop could be charged up. At full charge, he just does several back to back chops if it hits. When he does this to a small character, he has to crouch down to hit 'em with the chops.

Every single taunt in skullgirls does something different! Some are useful, like Big Band's empowering his supers and Beowulf building his hype resource, some have a niche use like Fukua's restoring lost health from holding her clones and Umbrella's reducing her hunger meter, but some are just cosmetic, like Parasouls making the next egret call say "Well, excuuuuuuse me, princess!" And Cerebella's.... uh.... increasing the chance to spawn the poorly drawn cat :')

Fun extra bit of info on the TvC one: Gold Lightan has unique victory dialogue against Alex where he says something to the effect of, “Wow, you can actually lift me? Are you even human?”

In MvC2 Winning as Sakura and holding down with both kicks she will dance with her classmates. For Captain Commando, holding both kicks before the intro, he'll appear as a cowboy instead of in a suit.
