If Miranda knew how much strength her songs have given so many women to stand up against abusive men she would cry she would be so happy. Such a strong and powerful woman. I love her.
  • This song is for all the women who have been beaten by men this song gives them strength
  • Miranda is so under appreciated. I love this song! power and love to all the women on this planet!!!

"His fist is big, but my gun's bigger, he'll find out when I pull the trigger!" Damn straight boy, never come back around here again, if you know what's best for you!!
  • I left my abusive ex husband 6.5 years ago! I've never been so proud of myself of walking out the door. I'm a survivor.

The day my ex-husband had beat me up this song came on the radio on my way to report him to the cops.

If you're not turned on as a man by this song, move to Seattle. 🇺🇸💪🇺🇸💪🇺🇸💪🇺🇸
  • I have literally had the opposite experience as this song: My birth parent abused me and I finally got away when I found my husband. He showed me I deserved to be respected and listened to. But this song gave me the courage to fight to be heard. And NOT let my mom hound slash 'reconnect' with me. So this is just pretty much the most awesome song ever if it can reach people like me.

County road, 233 Under my feet Nothin' on this white rock but little ole me... I got 2 miles 'til...he makes bail, And if I'm right, we're headin' straight to Hell I'm goin' home, gonna load my shotgun, Wait by the door and light a cigarette He wants a fight, well now he's got one He ain't seen me crazy yet Slapped my face and shook me like a rag doll Don't that sound like a real man? I wanna show him what lil' girls are made of, Gun powder and lead! Well it's half past 10... Another 6 pack in, I can feel the rumble like a cold black wind. He pulls in the drive...gravel flies, He don't know what's waitin' in here this time! Hey, I'm goin' home, gonna load my shotgun, Wait by the door and light a cigarette He wants a fight, well now he's got one He ain't seen me crazy yet Slapped my face and shook me like a rag doll Don't that sound like a real man? I wanna show him what lil' girls are made of, Gun powder and lead! His fist is big, my gun's bigger... He'll find out when I pull the trigger! I'm goin' home, gonna load my shotgun, Wait by the door and light a cigarette He wants a fight, well now he's got one He ain't seen me crazy yet Slapped my face and shook me like a rag doll Don't that sound like a real man? I wanna show him what lil' girls are made of, Gun powder and! -- Gun powder and lead! Gun powder and lead!
