Discover the Bitexco Financial Tower, a breathtaking skyscraper located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Standing at 262.5 meters (861 ft) with 68 floors above ground and three basements, it was the tallest building in Vietnam when it was completed in 2010. The tower's unique design, inspired by Vietnam's national flower, the Lotus, was created by Carlos Zapata, Design Principal and Founder of Carlos Zapata Studio, with French company AREP as architect of record. The tower is owned by Bitexco Group, a Vietnamese multi-industry corporation specializing in real estate development. The building houses the Ho Chi Minh City office of Bitexco Group while the company's headquarters are in Hanoi. The Bitexco Financial Tower was officially inaugurated on October 31, 2010, and has received numerous accolades for its iconic design, including being named one of the 25 Great Skyscraper Icons of Construction by CNN.com in 2013 and the #2 Coolest Skyscraper in the World by Thrillist.com in 2015.
