Many truckers, or would be truckers, look at this video and think flatbedding is a lot of work. It's a challenge, each load is a puzzle. If you go the easy route with dry van, you are missing out on the best part of trucking.

As a Louisville native, and being raised in the Jeffersonville and Elizabethtown areas, it’s cool to see you rolling through there. And now that I’m a flatbedder with Prime Inc, it’s even nicer to see my home gettin some flatbed attention. Nice work!

I like these types of video-a look at the securement side of things. Keep us updated on the new Rand Mcnally.

Great video Mr Craig.. My question is about the stack in the back and why there was no need for forward protection securement like the front did.. If you could answer that be great.. Thanks stay safe 👍🍻
  • Craig. Love your channel. On this plate securement, how thick is the coil pad you’re using under the chains? Also, are the corner protectors on the top chains metal or plastic? Thanks

Did you add the grease fittings on your ratchet binders? I've never noticed anyone else having them. Great idea

I understand the need for using chains on the front & back because of the criss-cross pattern. Could you have used straps for the other securements? Why would chain be preferable here? Seems like straps would be easier, (certainly lighter) to use.

I have my app in for Maverick... Should hear something today after submitting my last document they asked for... How long did that securement take from start to finish, approx?

Nice video but you need a camera stand mount. This would allow us a better view at the fabulous work you do at securing and tarping your loads.

I see TMC doesn't have the same professional standards when it comes to PPE. Shame on them and Woot for Maverick for showing the trucking world how to be safe and professional at all times.
