Order The Sonos Ace: obvs.ly/mike-o-brien
This video was made in partnership with Sonos

I’ve tested tons of headphones over the years and one brand I always hoped would join the headphones space was Sonos. Well, finally the day has come. These are the brand new Sonos Ace and despite being their first ever headphones, these headphones feel surprisingly refined. Like you can tell they were clearly designed by a team with a lot of audio experience and a strong passion for the design. For example, these have spatial audio and if you’re watching a movie and decide to go get more popcorn, the headphones detect when you start walking and disable spatial audio until you sit down again. Such attention to detail is prevalent throughout these headphones. Also, I don’t want to spoil the video, but my ANC tests, microphone tests, and sound quality testing showed these beating a lot of industry leaders. @sonos #sonospartner

A lot of users are reporting electrostatic noises coming from the right earcup. No reviewer is talking about it.
  • @NizarNoor
Where's the headphones stands from? I want those

I've never understood the "this video is sponsored by" but "these opinions are my own" - spiel. Clearly the opinion is yours, Sonos wont help you to write the video. Clearly, you'll give some negatives, as that wont affect Sonos in anyway. The question is, would this review be the same if it wasn't sponsored by them?
  • The time has come to buy my new headphones, after 5 years with the Bose QC35 II that I loved, I'm thinking about switching to the Bose Ultra, but I have the Apple ecosystem at home and the AirPodMax is also fighting. I'll wait for your review of the Sonos Ace, the most important thing for me is the ANC.

Would have thought they would have found a way to connect to their sound system with an adapter to Bluetooth arrangement.
  • Sonos is clearly not a good company to make a cooperation with if they're gonna force you to make a video like that, telling you that you need to say that this video "is your whole opinion", to make it look like it's not an ad. they're discrediting your voice and robbing you of any nuance, while painting themselves in a shitty light for even feeling the need to police you like this. super disappointed either way. just do an ad and call it a day. we get that you need to make money and pay bills. no one's gonna criticize you for that.

Disappointed to say the least. Mike’s been my go to reviewer for headphones for a while now. I was really looking forward to his REAL opinion on the Sonos… but it looks like we won’t get it.
  • @Abulls33
Is this guy related to Nate O’Brien?

I was left disappointed with the sound of these headphones. I guess i had high expectations considering i love all the home theatre/audio products they make. These will be going back tomorrow.

Hey Mike, this is how you loose subscribers instead of gaining them!! 💯
  • @firestar_1291
Sadly, this video isnt a review, just an advertisement.
  • @mlwz1082
You talked about everything but how they sound lol
  • @IMHO88-dm1xf
Like they say, there's a price for just about everything. In this case, it's your honor, reputation and integrity!!
  • not another bought "review" ffs. I've had enough of that from iKnow's Sonos "review". just own up to this being an advertisement. it's fine. but please stop pretending it's anything beyond that, "giving your honest opinion". these are headphones for 500 bucks. either hold them to that price tag or embrace that you're in fact NOT giving a review. we're not stupid.
