TRYING To Clean My Room *i'm a hoarder*

Tara showing us all the embarrassing side of her life especially her messy room make me love her even more. I’ve always struggled with my room even now watching this video makes me really look at my messy room, that’s definitely even worse than hers, just really makes me want to be productive and get through it. I love Tara so much and watching her videos every day makes me so happy.

Here’s a plan to clean your room I have adhd and it sucks with cleaning 1-clean floor and wash sheets/blankets 2-take trash out of room/trashcan 3-fold/clean laundry 4-organize closet by color code and if have clothes that don’t fit or I don’t wear I put it in a corner of my room 5-vacuum/mop 6- bathroom wise I clean off the counter and sink then take old soap and fill them up or replace them

God that alopecia bit kinda comforted me cause ive been dealing with hairloss and hearing her say it so casually kinda helps me not feel so alone

The procrastination is so real, literally me with school work or anything that involves getting out of bed

tara!! this is the most relatable problem ever. i consistently struggle to keep my room clean because of the amount of clothes i have that are overfilling my closet. you've probably heard this tip before but when you go through your clothes, if an item brings you joy in any capacity, then you keep it!! i definitely also struggle with keeping things for sentimental value but sometimes you can turn them into other pieces of clothing that you'll actually wear!! (or like a quilt if you have a lot of graphic tees). i know you probably won't see this but i'm wishing you the best of luck with your future deep cleaning. love you girl <3

I love how Tara is so honest and how she shows us her “flaws”, it makes me feel less guilty about my own flaws. I always felt terrible and embarrassed about my messy room (way worse than hers btw) to the point that I stopped inviting my friends over but seeing her and how she deals with it, it really helps and makes me feel so much better and motivated.
