I just absolutely KNEW you'd love Ddaeng. Glad I wasn't mistaken! 🤣🤣🤣So glad I got a chance to witness part of the stream live. Feel sad that I had to dip out, but real life intruded. Excellent reaction!! The deep dive really helps to get the full impact of the song. RM talks about the genesis of this song, in the book. Have you read the book yet? 🧐 His explanation made me giggle. People put BTS down, and the rap line flips it over, and goes all intellectual on them. The word play, the sarcasm, and the ability to tell their haters where to go in such a way, that they look forward to the trip? Priceless! 🤌🤌🤌

Jk slayed it.. Many reactors notice how Jk slayed.. They are surprised how Jk rap is good they don't know that in Bts early debut he really rap so he is a sub rapper when other rapline is not available. 😂

This song is an entire VIBE. Both the original rap line and the vocal line versions. Plus this is a song that pretty much only true fans (and those they deem worthy to share it with) get to enjoy. Imagine the numbers it would have made if it had been part of an album. I hope it gets released on streaming platforms at some point. People tend to forget that Jungkook was a sub rapper (i.e. backup rapper) back in the day, once they transitioned to a less hip-hop/rap image he hasn't had much opportunity to, but Ddaeng is the best example of what he can do when his skills are called on. So smooth, so clear, and his phrasing and rhythm is on point. Love the energy of the rest of the vocal line as well, they're all having so much fun with this. :D

Love ddeang! And your reaction. 💜 On top of every diss in this track, don’t forget that they were blamed to be to western and that was the reason they made it internationally. What do they do? They use every native instrument, native references and native decor & clothes they can come up with to do this performance for their festa. And we westerns love it!!! Proof right there. One of my absolute favourites, the word play is so complex and succinct. I can only sing the chorus in Korean, this is what my neighbours hear me( A 62 year old) singing while I'm gardening.😅

I wish David had explained the stutter rap that RM did. Not only is it hard but it references how others wouldn’t talk to them when they were small. And now that they are huge, those same people are stuttering when seeing them to kiss their butts

This song is a testament how unique and different BTS are from their peers..This is also one of my favorite song from..Though I love most of their songs,this one is just different and they released it for free..The rapline have their own style but together they are fire,especially when the vocal line joins..I just love them soooo much..
