So happy for Rai! He was so disappointed in 2021 after his silver medal even though he put in an awesome performance. Glad his dedication paid off with a gold this year.

Been a long time coming for Rai. Dude earned every bit of that gold. Credit to Warholm and dos Santos for being great competitors. Together with Rai, the trio have taken a once-obscure event and forged it into one of the sport's most compelling races.

I was never a fan of the 400m hurdles until I saw Rai racing for USC. Watching him evolve since then, combined with the Warholm rivalry, has made this one of my favorite events to watch! He was so relaxed on the backstretch, but didn't let Warholm catch him. I knew it was over at 200. Well deserved, Rai! That was a long 3-year wait, but I'm so happy for you
