You know, this is almost exactly, if not exactly how I imagined this would sound when it was played with actual instruments.

Best guitar arrangement for this in my opinion. Perfect notation and great sounding. and 1:17... OUF!!!! The Tim Follin super arpeggios.
  • @bostjan64
At 1:17, I was thinking "he's not going to do the sweeping arpeggios," then at 1:20, I was like "holy crap!"

@zubareus That's typically how I do my covers from scratch, because I'm too lazy to do a 3x split screen of the different parts. The F-Zero covers I did I just replaced the main melody part real quick, so I did video of those :)

@dsargent724 Ty! It was actually a direct-in, not mic'd :X and the original is so reverb-y!! but thanks for the suggestions and for listening! :) <3

This is actually badass to the flesh completely and utter badass all i need now is a pinball table hahaha =)
  • Wow, Lobos! I'm a fan of your Dark Souls videos, I had no idea you enjoyed making music. I think I got recommended this video because I just posted my own version of the song. I would be honored if you could listen to it! If you want I could try to put your guitar with the higher quality tracks that I made and give you a MP3 (I have no problem letting you use it however you want).

I couldn't make it to the end of this dude. BECAUSE I KEPT DYING.

Awesome arrangement of an awesome song. It sounds like it could use a touch of cleaning up at parts, but maybe it just sounds like that because I'm used to the "clean cut" original. It could also really benefit from an actual ending, but these are very minor issues that I frankly have no place addressing. Besides, I'll take a live performance over canned programmed instruments any day. Think you could put this up somewhere for download?

The audio sounds poorly recorded. I mean, like I'm hearing it in an all metal room, or maybe through a little water, or something like that.  Tinny, perhaps?  I'd be interested in hearing a good recording of this, though.

AWESOME!! Turn down the reverb and get your mic closer to the amp and you're golden. Good job A+!
