I didn't watch the video but you're only partially right. He's not holding them back, they just don't have a use for him in the current offense. A player on a rookie deal isn't "holding the team back". His playstyle just doesn't fit what they're doing. They don't need another scorer or playmaker as shai runs the offense primarily. His defense is subpar and won't get him time either. He barely gets 25 minutes most nights, its unfair to say that he is holding them back when he's not even the 4th option. They're just doing better than they should have and the team is not built to win a championship yet. The accelerated development of jdub and chet just pushed him to the backseat. They should trade him but they're not going to get great return on value.

Bad timing to post this video after Josh Giddey was top scorer for OKC against the Raptors. Bad timing to say he can't take contact when he finished the game with a & 1 to close out the game in Double OT. Giddey has averaged 11.7 pts compared to Isiah Joe's 8.6 pts but more importantly if you consider rebounds and assists Giddey is a long way in front. This team is better with Josh Giddey in it.
