I'm exploring The Philippines In The USA?! Did you know that Filipinos make up a huge percentage of the hospitality industry around the world. So I'm here in the cruise ship capital of the world - Miami, and I'm learning about Filipino culture, people, and of course the incredible food. They are truly some of the nicest people I've ever met, and you won't believe the stories they have to share.

I am a Filipino residing in the Miami area. Ironically, I only discovered that restaurant after living here in 17 years. Anyway, the staff and owner of that restaurant are nothing short of being great ambassadors of Filipino hospitality. Not only have they had good foods and amiable services, but before leaving, they packed extra foods for us to go for free, like we were family.

Watching you introduce snacks makes me feel like I am back in my childhood, which makes me happy! That buffet has a lot of Filipino dishes. I’m happy to watch you enjoying your meal! The enthusiasm and humor of that Filipino aunt really represent typical Filipinos, who are kind, hard-working, and optimistic! Thank you for sharing the lesser-known side of cruises, Philippine culture, and touching stories of Filipino immigrants! A cruise has always been a trip I've wanted to take, and I look forward to taking a cruise travel with you one day! 👍😍🙏🙌

In my home town there is only one Filipino karenderia / sari-sari store. My new language learning strategy is to have coffee or lunch there twice a week, and hang a sign from my table that says "Tulungan ang 'Kano na matutong magsalita ng Tagalog!" It works. I've met the nicest people! This has helped my conversational skills improve from Beginner, to High-beginner / Low-intermediate. Thanks Jared, you inspired this!

I went on a Cruise going to Meditarrenean for 2 weeks and I took the Pacific princess Cruise line and Most of the workers are filipino from being a cook , host, cleaners, waiters etc. and I met all of them and I even went out with them on the way to our port over in Greece. You can even order filipino food to serve it to your cabin. I even went to Bar Lounge and they had this karaoke and the Host is a Filipina I decided to sing a song and then those people was giving me money in that night I make 100.00 dollars for 1 hr and they even gave me a free drinks

Bro just ate diniguan and thought it was adobo. Thank god someone corrected him but told him it’s pork blood. I gotta give it to him! Good job bro!

10:27 It's actually done in the Philippines. There's noodles topped with dinugoan(blood stew). So, that's alright. Yeah, it wasn't adobo that you scooped, twas dinugoan.
