Testing out the popular JackonLux Emergency LED Light Bulb, plus a short Q&A at the end. Also the bulb isn't actually "powered" by your fingers (sorry if that sounded like click-bait!) but your fingers can be used to activate the battery feature.

  • I love James there’s something about him that never changes which I find very comforting
  • @jpolar394
That reminds me of the uncle Fester lightbulb that ran by a double a battery that I got in the 70s. You stuck the bulb in your mouth and the bulb light up.
  • @bedast
GE makes one of these with a physical switch on the bulb. Bought one from Target a few years ago. So if you want one from a known brand that can be had locally, that’s an option. They’re around $15.

Oh man, I got two and I love them! They produce so much light and they come in handy when the power goes out or when I just need bright overhead light in my kitchen.
  • James doing his question and answering. Bailey in the background going to the bathroom in the corner. Seeing Bailey even if she's blurry in the background is always the best part of James's videos. 🐾❤️🤗
  • Thanks for all your reviews, we really enjoy them and find many of them very useful.
  • @MsGail61
Bailey pops in like Bewitched before you say, “ no major injuries.”
  • @Nargaroth
Good questions and good answers in the q&a section. Love the vids James!
  • @bradasstv
I've seen these and wondered if they actually worked. Thanks for this!
  • @mhans79
Loved the Q&A at the end. Also another great review. Def something handy to have around the house.

Hubby and I are hooked on your reviews! We are relatively new to your reviews. Just started watching on our Roku last March. You have a great presence, soothing. Lol. Very easy to watch.
  • If its LED they really went cheap on the battery if it only lasts 3 to 4 hours. I bought a 4 pack of LED lanterns on Amazon that use 3 AA batteries and they last for 40 hours. Not rechargeable but I'd rather change batteries than only have 3 hours of light and then screwed if the power is still out.

This was a super helpful reiew. It touched on a lot of info / questions that were not made clear in the product info. Thank you!
  • @lordvlygar2963
Back in the early 90's, I used to get plastic light bulbs at a candy and party store. It didn't use any batteries, but would light up if you touched the two circles on the bottom. I would put them in sockets and they worked perfectly fine. If they weren't pink or blue, you wouldn't know they were "hand powered" bulbs. They were also about two dollars.

I'm going to have to get me one of these bad boys!!! 😁 Thank you for taking the time to review this bulb!!! 👍
