Diesmal habe ich die Flugwerft in Schleißheim besucht, hierbei handelt es sich um eine Außenstelle des Deutschen Museums München. Die Ausstellung ist ziemlich beeindruckend und so gestaltet, dass für jeden Besucher etwas dabei ist.
Natürlich habe ich es mir nicht nehmen lassen dort einige Photos zu machen, um euch kurz die Entwicklung der deutschen Luftfahrt von den frühesten Anfängen bis in die heutige Zeit zu zeigen.

From time to time even a scale modeller has to leave the workshop and expose himself to some fresh air! Luckily there is no shortage of beautiful places for some excursions in my area.
This time i visited the aircraft hangars in Schleissheim, this facility is part of the German Museum in Munich. The exhibition is very impressive and designed in such a way that every visitor gets something out of it.
Of course i had to take a few photo there in order to show you the development of the German aviation from its early beginnings to our present time.

Nice! Ich wusste gar nicht, dass Schleißheim einen Flugplatz hat - ich kenne nur das Schloß (dahin hat mich als Kind meine Oma öfters mitgenommen, ihre Schwestern wohnten in Unter-Schleißheim).

very interesting museum I was there a few times in the last years. Only one thing I think that would add a lot to the museum: some experimental German aircrafts from WWII.... even if as replicas or models. Germany has a lot of interesting developments in 1942-1945.... But anyway it is a very good and interesting museum
