Based on the award-winning novel by Rusty Whitener, Season of Miracles follows the Robins, an underdog Little League team through their 1974 season with newcomer and autistic baseball savant, Rafer (Grayson Russell, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Talladega Nights). Team leader Zack (Andrew Wilson Williams) takes Rafer under his wing despite taunting from their rivals, the Hawks. Their Coach (John Schneider, The Dukes of Hazzard, October Baby), manager Rebecca (Sydney Morgan Layne), and the rest of the Robins encourage Rafer as the team rises towards an unlikely championship season, that is less about winning and losing and more about living and dying. Season of Miracles is a life-inspiring story about sportsmanship, friendship, and courage in the face of adversity.

  • John Schneider is a giant. He released some major country hits. I'm so proud that he is a part of the children's miracle Network
  • All the young leads are very good. But the lead actor playing the "Rafer" role is exceptional. He's really studied how a savant behaves. Great also to see one of the "Dukes" boys in a really gritty role. He's more than just "a good ole boy", in this film!

This is a most heart felt message. God does work in the most amazing ways. All we have to do is wait on His answer and believe.
  • Sweet. Love this “coming of age” movie focused mostly on coming to the Rock of Ages. Beautiful reminder of the true beauty of the redeemed soul. And the importance of looking and seeing beyond the superficial. Man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart. Thank You, Jesus!
  • This was probably the BEST movie I have seen in years. It had all a person could ask for in a movie.

Glad that the scriptwriting mentioned that in '74 we still had our servicemen and women stuck in Vietnam. Even though there was another cease fire declared in '73, that one would be final, there were still the operations of removing equipment and then the refugee airlifts in '75. Some of my Intermediate school classmates and teammates had fathers still involved with the bug out until late '75 early '76 BRAVO! to the producers.
  • What an Amazing movie and a summer of Miracles…. ✨🥲 God is SO Good!!! ⭐️💗 ⚾️
  • Such a Beautiful and Heartwarming story. GOD uses the Broken and those who seem useless. In GOD'S EYES nobody is useless.
  • For everyone new here wondering if this is worth watching: yes!! The plot and the message and the heart everyone put in is a thousand times more worth than „perfect“ Hollywood acting. To me, they did all good. It touched me this movie, and that is what I want about a movie.

They did a great job getting 70's clothes, cars and interior decor correct with a few 90's era clothes thrown in... and the lady would NEVER have gone to church in pants in the 70's. I remember how denim overalls were cool. I used to wear a pair too.
  • Touching movie about friendship, compassion, reality of life and baseball.
  • Little Richie was beautiful. Precious child. They were amazing kids. Go Rebecca.
