  • Just a suggestion, next year have each kid carry a hand basket and give them a list of what they need so you can check base on what everyone has/ still needs to pick up as your going along
  • @skv1976
I seriously get a bit emotional thinking about how much you guys have done for these kids. Who knows what or where they’d be if they weren’t saved soon enough. You two are amazing people!
  • @EGracie86
Oh my goodness, my head was spinning with your finding lol. I would agree, a basket and list per kiddo (with a bigger buddy to help out the littles). Lots of things you would need for your big family, hopefully you found everything that you need.

Lizzy, a tip for school supplies for college: You need less than you think you do. I usually just use a 5 subject notebook, a folder for each class, a planner, writing utensils, and my laptop.
  • I really want to see them organise all there stuff and put it, into their bags
  • @pinkbabe728
Maybe next year separate the school supply shopping up to keep it organized. Take the Littles then the middles then bigs. Try baskets by placing then in the carts to keep track of each kids. Go through the list one item at a time to make sure you are getting the right supplies.

Harlan: "Mine is pretty fancy" as he shows a plain black binder😂😂💕

Treys adorable little twinkle face. He is just so adorable. And he uses it. Cracks me up!

When I see this family I just look at them and be like omg how good sibling relations they got
  • @lexdrish
anyone notice how aubrey said “pole huncher” instead of hole puncher🤣
  • @synthytan8046
I love how she lets her kids buy choose their own school supplies and lets them express themselves
  • @cutie7798
Everyone:is thinking you should oraginize your bags Me:dang that’s expensive
  • @juliejustdance
I used to organize the shelves just like Addison was doing with the gum. It looks so much better organized.

Do your teachers post list of items that they need and items that are discouraged? If so it might be helpful to set up a spreadsheet. We need so you will know how the total number of crayons, glue sticks, highlighters etc. Then you could buy in bulk and distribute them to each child. This will cut back on the temptation to buy “cool” things like mini staplers and hole punchers that rarely get used. I know that B2S is exciting and fun and kids could still individualize by picking out binders and folders. If you really want to make teachers happy: Ticonderoga pencils are the absolute best! Crayola crayons are way better than other brands and Elmer’s Glue has been in business for so long for a reason! Periodically sending in a box of tissues is a much appreciated gift!

Maybe for an idea for next year, give each kid their own basket and have them fill their own. Then you can tell how much each kid has and what belongs to who

When I shopped for my kids, I bought what was on the list only. The schools here are very picky about the kids only having the basic, not fancy stuff. Crayola was the only brand I bought when it came to crayons but markers. They seem to last the longest.

I love how chaotic it is 😅 I would defo change it up next year with a print out of what each kid needs and split it in to section of college, high, middle and elementary. Also that would give you like small dates with smaller groups with shelly and jared ❤

They are so blessed!!! That shopping gave me anxiety though lol Next year, maybe the kids can separate into groups of 3 or 4 persons per shopping cart that way they can go off their own shopping lists and make sure they're not just grabbing random supplies they might not really need.
