  • Just to take care of any confusion 1. The video here is recorded from my 3.2 log in screen. It's not beta. 2. The music is just overlaid. The music is from a Genshin unlisted video (see link below). How I stumbled upon the link, I can't remember specifically as it's been 4 months already. I saw it from a Youtube comment section maybe. 3. I do not know if CBT actually used this version with lyrics in the log in screen. I've looked up YouTube video posts from before the launch of the game and I don't think I saw a video with this version with lyrics. 4. There are 2 versions of this. This version is more breathy and the chorus starts with something like "Aria see you me flani". This version is an excerpt from the unlisted Genshin video where Yu-peng Chen explains the evolution of the main theme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ou4qEvatUHA The video is unlisted so you can only find it with the link above The other version is more similar to the Night Theme we have and the chorus sounds something like "Rie na cree see you me flani". That version is also full so you'll hear the first parts of the song. Here's a link to the unreleased full version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOjZDZgMYsc
  • @NohAotori
Im feeling robbed now. This is so beautiful
  • I’m going to be honest, I heard “hurry up” and thought this was a meme video 😂
  • I can understand why they make it silent, cuz it might be annoying every time you login in for hundreds time. But the lyrics should be at the end credit if the game reach it's end (of Teyvat chapter)
  • @shy8291
when she said "aria, siyumi flaimi, driha lei vita pyu meladi suvinavi," I really felt that

Now this is the kind of music I would wanna hear when we finish the Genshin impact story .😊
  • @FaiGal
This sounds more haunting than with no lyrics tbh. I’d be too creeped out to start playing. I kinda think it’s good they changed it
  • @irfanadli2653
Imagine you hear this in the middle of the night and your genshin is off😂😂

Yu Peng Chen is really a prodigy at composing, all of his music can fit really well with every genshin occasion. MihoYo should be grateful they employed Yu Peng Chen.

Gonna admit for like a year now the opening has been annoying to me but this version i keep replaying. It is so strange...beautiful yet haunting, peaceful but also sad
  • I honestly would prefer if they use this in the future. Gives me vibes of NieR: Automata ost.
  • @fuhi4080
But its so beautiful! Gives me dragon age vibes 😍🥰

I think the song who is singing is the moon sister, and you can see the moon at the back right? And she even said "Aria" which is one of the moon sister names Also i translated a word she sang "Siyumi" which represents "Loyal, Gentle,Love"

This is sooo pretty. This is a little baseless, but since Enkanomiya I've headcanoned the singing voice in the opening as belonging to Istaroth.
  • @ariiscool51
iove it but it creeps me out a little at the same time

Although a lot of people are glad that they removed it, I kinda like the lyrics. For those that don't know, parts of Genshin Impact was inspired by NieR: Automata (whos OST I adore) which has their own made-up languages, which appears frequently in the songs. I don't know music theory and I don't know a lot of the lore (I was younger when I watched playthroughs and it's been a while) but it reminds you that this is a post-apocalyptic world. In Genshin, it could've reminded you about the unknown god or being in a new world/being from a different world, but it still sounds great :)
