What a wonderful tour guide! Her pleasant demeanor and kind voice magnify her extensive knowledge of the history of England! This lady knows her stuff! She would have made a great history teacher. She recited all the names of the people buried in Westminister Abbey. How awesome is that? I would love to go on a tour with her. She's the ultimate consummate professional!

I liked your description of the Queen's Guards. My wife and I were in London 2 years ago and, while touring the Tower of London, came across two young men in uniform. I asked them if they were there on duty and found out that they were on their first day guarding the Tower and the Crown Jewels. They showed us their service medals that Prince Charles had presented to them and explain alot about their uniforms and their duties as guards. You could hear the pride in their voices as they told us all of this.
