The bottom line here is that under this plan, corporations will be paying less (in taxes), and to fund that, consumers will be paying more (in tariff). The argument then proceeds to potential impacts. Heritage argues that businesses will have more income to spend on increasing business, which will mean more jobs, but nothing in the plan REQUIRES businesses to do so. It is far more likely taht the added revenue from no longer paying as much tax will be harvested by shareholders, not workers.

Inflation will spike from this idiotic plan

tariffs are becoming a way for the U.S government to raise taxes because it's impossible to get voted into office if you're proposing tax hikes loool.

Let see, more Tariff higher prices for Americans. The Tariff goes into Government Coffers from the pockets of American consumers. Tax Cut will benefit the corporations, but with AI we are going to see huge job loss and less demand for workers. So in the end, the corporations will benefit while the people face higher prices and less work opportunity. Sounds about right.
