In this video I reveal how to teach your dog to look using treats, a ball and language.

A reactive or anxious dog's behaviour will not just manifest in fleeing, freezing, barking, lunging and attacking . It is also very likely to appear in the form of pulling on the lead and looking around. In this video I demonstrate how to train an anxious / reactive dog to walk on a loose lead so they stop pulling. This naturally has to be done simultaneously with communicating that you will protect them.

Disclaimer: if you have any aggression or reactivity issues with your dog be sure to complete my online course on nervousness and aggression before implementing any advice given on my YouTube videos as a complete oversight of the method with careful management is needed.

** PS: I NEED YOUR HELP **

My goal is to better the lives of #onemilliondogs in my lifetime. It is clearly impossible for me to do this on a one to one basis. I have seen that with around every thousand views on my videos, I get a comment or email thanking me and letting me know the video has helped. So working on that basis, I have to make videos on how to address every problem
behaviour and accumulate ONE billion views in order to help 1,000,000 dogs.

You can help me reach #onemilliondogs by (1) subscribing to my channel and (2) give this video a thumbs up - so YouTube suggests this video to more dog owners and we can help 1,000,000 dogs all over the world. Thank you so much!

** THANK YOU **

  • I think Donte must think he's in the royal family. He is loving life. Thank you for the help.
  • I love how he wagged his tail when you praised him with a “good boy”

I love this series. Dante is so much like our Fausto. I have been working heavily on his leash walking and he's improved so much over the last 2 weeks. Still reactive to dogs, but more excited than afraid we think. A tough one to train as we don't have anyone with a calm enough dog can practice with but we'll get there too. I have also read your book and managed to leave the flat three times without him getting up and following me in the last 3 days. Such a great feeling to come back in and him still napping!! Very much recommend the book to anyone
