Hey Rocky, I know that a lot of people are excited for you to adopt again, but you're absolutely making the right call by waiting to heal. It just wouldn't be fair to the new doggo to take on that responsibility before you're ready and I really respect that decision you've made. It also made a lot of sense why you had to avoid the shelter for a few weeks, and I have no doubt that they were extremely understanding. That being said, was good to see you back in there just sitting with Lady, and I'm pretty sure that was therapeutic for the both of you (it's visually obvious). Between that, giving a big ol' blind doggo his first puppachino, and you having the ability to still laugh despite how may of the videos had Boxers, really shows how you're handling all of this. Healing takes time, but you're off to a great start.
