It’s my opinion that the husband is responsible. I read Tom’s Ex Wife’s name was discovered using property records et al. by a citizen armchair investigating, and they found in court records—that his ex wife is a senior Forensics Investigator. 👀 As someone who was once married to a veteran detective, I learned A LOT from him, about all aspects of every gruesome case/crime imaginable. I assume he knew a bit from his ex wife, if this info is true. After-all, who else would a spouse vent to about their cases? Alexis being found naked leads me to believe he was attempting to avoid dna or fibers on her clothing, although it wouldn’t be suspicious if there were...because they live in the same house. However, I also wonder if he washed the body or something. I’m sure he was panicked and not thinking clearly. If they had an altercation and she was choked to death—which could be the case given the alleged history and lack of immediately visible trauma, it is likely there would be touch DNA on her neck which would implicate him during an autopsy—barring cleaning her up or the rain she was left in overnight. Another thought is that leaving her body naked like that was based on opportunity—and secondarily as an ultimate final show of humiliation and control. A “fuck you,” if you will. Especially if rumors about their impending divorce are true and particularly if her alleged extramarital relationship was discovered. He didn’t say “I haven’t been able to get in touch with Alexis for the last day (less than 24 hours) and I’m worried...” It was “Alexis is ‘missing.’” His words are important. Combine that with her alleged accusations of domestic violence—not even including the lethality associated with men who choke/strangle their partners during DV—but with her wanting to leave him, she was something like 80x more likely to be murdered. We know that an Intimate Partner is is responsible in roughly 40% of homicides. Based off of what I have learned about this case so far & if the above rumors are true—and combining this with my exp. in the field of Domestic Violence and the Law & Women’s Issues-SA and DV in general... I figure it was an Intimate Partner Murder. Statistically...and because Occam’s razor. Just my opinion! But! I could def be wrong. And I admit that I obviously don’t have access to all of the information. MOST telling and Interesting is that the police/authorities are not putting out plea’s to the public for information. They are not warning others to be alert of their surroundings or to be cautious because ‘there is a potential killer on the loose.’ I believe it points to detectives having an idea exactly who is responsible. Further, they live just up the road. The OMNI has been closed for weeks. Perfect place to pull of a dump off. And of couuuuurse she “left out the back.” They have a Ring Doorbell/Camera. 🙄 I’ve read different accounts of where they lived but it appears they actually lived at The Grove. There, she had an apartment on the ground level, unlike where she lived previously (months ago) at the Palazzo where they resided on the 3rd floor. I bet we find out he left his house shortly after he says she left. Probably to “look for her” And that will be his excuse for seeing him driving on surveillance videos. Watch.

RIP Alexis Sharkey. Another woman falls victim to male violence. May her perpetrator, however close-by he is, be shaking in his boots right now.

Poor girl. Her mom/dad and siblings must be devastated. ❤️ If she was choked out via a strangle hold with his arm instead of with his hands, there aren't always external, visible signs on the throat i.e finger marks/bruising. Plus she didn't strip herself and hurl her own body into those bushes. I hope they find out for definite what happened to her and catch the right culprit, tho I have my suspicions. God bless her family and give them strength at this terribly sad time 🙏🏻

It's hard not to accuse or think that her husband Tom killed her. I'm pretty sure this will be the outcome.... So sad that this happened. She's so young.

Some of the articles I have read stated that she left the home that Friday after an argument with her husband, but other articles stated she had an argument with an undisclosed person. Does anyone know if she left walking or if she left in a vehicle? Based on this and her husband's reported erratic behavior following her disappearance, I am afraid it will come out that he was responsible for her death. This is heartbreaking.... may she rest in peace. My prayers are with her family 🙏🏻🕯🕊💖

Chris, while respectful treatment of victims is BAU for your channel, I want to give you kudos for intentionally describing Ms. Sharkey as an "Instagram Businesswoman." What an awful end to a young life. Sending prayers to her family and friends for their terrible loss.

I heard someone had placed her there? Which suggests foul play was involved. However until the autopsy results are published, it's just speculation. Although I'm of the belief, she was murdered & by someone close to her!!?

Why on earth would her husband own up to a possible impending divorce when that would be such a very common motive for murder in so many marriage break ups? Also, someone was in a hurry to dispose of body from a car rather than take the time to travel somewhere completely secluded and bury her. Her friends aren’t going to make up those stories of fear and they must have revealed the name to police already. The ring camera helps so many cases so why is there no mention of this footage and what was on it? Could it be they don’t want to scare someone off? Also, if this say was an accident in the heat of an argument wouldn’t the husband call his expert and knowledgeable wife to either assist or instruct on ways to make it look otherwise and keep suspicion off her ex? Lots of ways to look at this but they all come back to the husband! In my opinion!

Is there anybody who doesn't think it's the husband? It's always the husband.
