I was razed in New York on the East side in the early 1940s. No slushy storms then no WW2. I would take my sled to Central Park and spend the day on Pilgrims Hill riding down that wonderous place. Then drag the sled home 5 blocks to our apartment near the East River Drive. Childhood is a wonderous place.

Wow, look at all that snow. I was born in Brooklyn NY (Flatbush) in 1961. I so miss this and wish I was not moved from my home state. Maybe one day, when I can afford it, I'll move back.
