Not just any 250 GTO, but the second one to be built, and the first to ever go racing (chassis number 3387GT), fresh from a full restoration at Joe Macari. You can hear the incredible V12 alive and kicking as we cruise through London's streets, one of just 36 of these beautiful cars ever built.

No active exhaust, no artificial sound pumped through interior speakers, no reason to. Pure, unadulterated, visceral and real.
  • The fact that this fortunes worth of car is out there driving around is priceless in itself. Thank God people use cars as Enzo intended.

I would be nervous af driving the holy grail around on public streets!

Im saving my pennies every day......ive done the math and i should be able to afford one of these in about 900 years. Just hoping by then the price hasnt increased
  • Great to see this car being used and driven "enthusiastically", especially considering its rarity and value. Many thanks for sharing this!

The fact that I'm still here after 3 months, having already watched it over 56 times...and not skipping any second of it, knowing how the musically bred startups await in the end😭😭😭....makes me realise how great this car is...If you do the maths, this car is worth kilos of gold equivalent to it's weight (of course exclusive of its sentimental value).

What a car. What an engine. There's nothing like a Colombo V12. Absolutely gorgeous. I'm glad it's getting driven. I believe this chassis raced at Le Mans 1962 with the NART team and finished 6th overall. Great video ! Thank you for sharing :)

With the lockdown and no traffic it’s like Tom Cruise’s dream in Vanilla sky. With London instead of New York. And with a real 250 Gto, not a replica like in the movie... Amazing.

Must've been an insane experience! Amazing video mate

THE most beautiful car ever made bar none. Have seen the these in anger at the Goodwood Revival against Cobras and E Types and it was stunning. Great video, thank you.

Just wow! The spec is amazing. My parents bought me a 1/18 scale in 1988. Its seen better days now. My lovely wife just ordered a new one. :-)

They don’t make cars like this anymore. What a great sound 😀

What a thing of absolute beauty. From a time when cars were real cars.

This honestly looks like a computer game when you're filming from inside the car. Empty London roads make it almost surreal.

What a handsome car! Just beautiful. The ONLY thing I don't like about it is that it is not mine.

Awesome! This is like a London version of 'C'etait un rendez-vous', especially with that V12 sound track!

Great video, beautiful GTO! The orchestra of the V12 is sublime with the empty streets in London is perfect.
