The C5 corvettes front parking lights housings are a BAD example of what to put these Zevo bulbs in. The C5 Corvette has the standard bulb facing the bottom of the housing, like incandescent bulbs nature, they project 360 degree light, meaning there is zero issues. However the Zevo LED bulbs have backward firing led chips, intended to bounce off a rear facing reflector in majority of light housings on cars. Meaning the Zevo was actually pointing it's light at the top of the Corvettes housing meaning it was not actually utilizing the reflector to project light, surprisingly enough some of the light still came though, but not to it's full potential.

I installed these today as I was having trouble with the drivers side one sometimes getting a little moisture in it and popping the bulb. Hoping the way these are designed I won't have the issue if just little drop of moisture comes in because it won't drop right on the LED. As you said not quite as bright but I am happy with them and I already had the harness because of LED tails so I have no rapid flash. Thanks for the video!

  • Does Sylvania Zevo Led Bulb Hyper Flash when the turn signal indicator is on ? Have you installed load resistors on sylvania zevo bulbs to prevent hyper flash ?
