  • “Why did you come in late!?” “It took almost my whole life”

The scene where the old lady helps the red haired girl always gets me. I remember being afraid of growing up as a kid. I was also surrounded with a lot of middle aged and senior women growing up. They always made living in those eras of life so cool to me. They definitely helped me go through changes I didn’t necessarily want to go through at first.

It's so sad that it takes her her whole life to finally feel comfortable in her own skin

“How far do you have to walk to get to school?” “About 75 years”

This really hit hard. My grandma recently passed and it made me reflect on her life but also time i spent with her. She was an amazing woman ❤

  • The life cycle of a human is the best way to describe this animation
  • Hi See you in the next 5 years when this gets recommended again.

When I was young I never understood it, now that I've grown up I've realized it means "appreciate while you're young, cause when you grow up things need more responsibility" and care for what you have for this while... Hits hard

I watch this at least once every couple months. What I always think about is that I’m old enough to understand that there’s a deeper meaning to this video, but young enough to not have figured out exactly what that meaning is. Someday, I’ll understand. Just like the others do. But for now, I’m just appreciating the fact that I know it has a deeper meaning, the beautiful animation, and the story.

this is why you don’t send a kindergartner to school by them self

As a thirteen year old, I have been thinking how the weeks have gone by so quick, and how it feels like just yesterday I was six. This video made me realize how short life is and you have to appreciate it before it ends. Also, great animation!
