The W Motors Lykan Hypersport landed a starring role in Furious 7 as a locked up "beast in a cage." What was weird about that, is that most people had never heard of the Lykan Hypersport before that. What was this strange supercar, and was it worthy of the praise Dom and Brian gave it? We looked into it, and the story behind W Motors and the Lykan Hypersport is deeper, and more eye opening than I ever imagined.

And I think another part of its misconception as a hypercar, is being called the HYPERSPORT. It lays its cards down immediately for anyone who’s heard it’s name. I think swapping the fenyr and it’s names would have aided in the misperception issue.

Saw one of these in person once in Miami and was stunned never expected to see one out on the road and honestly, it looks amazing. It’s not worth the price, but it definitely makes a statement. Sounds great too, as if that were a surprise.

For anyone who doesn't know, Casey Putsch and Genius Garage got ahold of a Fast and Furious Live body shell of one these. They are building it into a real car using a similar Porchse platform starting point. It's been stuck in paint for a while now though.

I actually walked past the W Motors showroom in Dubai by coincidence. I saw a Hypersport and also the Fenyr, both of them were turned on because they maneuvered the around. But it was a really weird atmosphere there and they didn`t really appreciate me looking...
