"When the poison didn't work, he moved to C4." What a goddamn sentence
  • @desdes5622
"Yes, all of this happened before the age of nine." That caught me off guard. That's horrifying.
  • -Bad childhood -Did crime -Went to prison for it -When released did the same thing but even worse

"The Werewolf" name was given not because Popkov was mutilating bodies, but because he was a police officer. Corrupt policemen in Russia are often called "werewolves in uniforms"
  • peewee is the perfect example of “give serial killers lame names” imagine ur trying to be a cool killer and u check the paper to see “peewee”
  • @victuss1413
Instead of giving serial killers bad-ass ending names like the night stalker or like the Chesapeake Bay throat slasher we should call them like the micropeen weeb so that they have no infamy worth wanting

Finally someone who understands that true crime and criminal psychology are very interesting, yet respects the victims and highlights them, and speaks against the glorifying of serial killers/abusers. And yes, showing their pictures on national tv and giving them cool super villain names isn't helping at all. Thanks wendigoon, love your videos.
  • I loooove how you don’t use scary music or a scary tone, you just lay the facts down.

I hate the fact that Peter Kurten would probably love the fact that his brain is on display in a museum in Wisconsin.
  • Wow, that woman attacked by random guy and Peter was just having the worst night ever. William Bonin's story is so sad. Was so relieved when his mom took the steps to try to protect him and his brother from the abuse only to have my heart drop when you said the orphanage was just the same shit, different predators.

someone should make a tier list of all the button-ups he wears I think this one is S tier

I audibly said “What the fuck!??” Once he mentioned Henry resorting to C4 to kill his cell mate. Who just keeps C4 lying around in their cell?
  • @kelcegg
My grandfather was actually close friends with Pee Wee Gaskins, they worked together, and one of my relatives (related by marriage not by blood) was actually one of his victims! It's strange to think about, my grandpa was so close to such an awful person and somehow didn't end up a victim.
  • If you was "Doodler" you'd be pissed off with that name when other serial killers are called "The Iceman" "The Vampire of Dusseldorf" "The Werewolf" 😂. Like a C list Batman villain with that name, up there with The Condiment King

Don’t ever get rid of these conversation with a friend-types of scripts Wendigoon, you have chill vibes going on with these icebergs and other videos, without ”hey here’s just top 10 serial killers of all time, number 10...”-conveyor belt-spouted, revenue first-kind of list channels that have filled up Youtube
  • @hoyaaa7190
You make a good point of not allowing their background of abuse take away from what they chose to do. I’ve heard the phrase, ‘an explanation is not an excuse’. Pointing out past trauma and explaining why serial killers may have turned into what they are does not absolve them of blame.
  • @Not_Soundwave
William Bonin's picture popping up next to Wendigoon is like that meme of the newscaster reporting a killer and a sketch shows on the screen that looks eerily similar to him.

In Jack Unterwegers case it seemed the be a sort of theme of the era in 70's and before where people would be so incredibly trusting, dumb and unbelievably gullible. There are a bunch of serial killers all over the world from those times that seemed to get away in some absolutely ridicilous ways that I have no idea how its even possible
