Going through True Area 53 with Super Sonic. This is unlocked once you collect the Chaos Emeralds with Sonic and beat the game with the rest of the characters.
Was great to play this game over after so many years, especially with getting all of the special rings for the first time legit (Used Action Replay years ago).

I just love how caring sonic is towards his friends especially with cream over how much she’s crying after her mother got taken by eggman. Sonic turns super as a way of saying to cream that he’ll make sure he gets her mother back to cream safe and sound

I like how Sonic goes super right after he sees Cream crying. It's actually really sweet of him. He likely would have done it either way but still.

One thing I liked about the Advance series is how subtle yet effective it is at establishing the characters at their core personality. Everything about this ending felt kind of shonen with Sonic going Super the moment Cream cried and that intense cutscene with Sonic saving Vanilla.

I wish I was good enough to get the emeralds in this game when I was younger. The Sonic Advance series are good games but have annoying ways of getting the Emeralds.

I love the opening scene cuz it shows sonic’s character perfectly, he’s known in modern games for doing what he thinks is right (eg: black night) so when he sees Cream break down at the kidnapping of her mother, it’s obvious that It would also drive Sonic to his point of “thats it ive had enough!”. Basically never hurt a kid while sonic is around, mentally or physically, he will fuck you up!

Great game. I really like the part where Sonic said “It’s advancin’ time!” And then he advanced through all those stages and all those eggmans robot! Truly one of the games of all time

Anyone notice how Sonic was initially gonna just tank damage from space carrying the pod if it didn't just burst? He's real for that considering it could've killed him, considering the force from the pod breaking alone broke the super state.
