I would love to have a traditional cooler fall here in NC. 🍂
  • I live in FL , heat advisory EVERY DAY FOR MONTHS, Bring ON COOLER WEATHER
  • @enaid54
I am sick of blazing hot weather and humidity. Bring on fall and cooler weather!
  • @briancclevenger
East coast crops need the rain. It's been 7 weeks since the last soaking rain. Still need heat and rain or the crops will not feed our cows. Our crops are right on the edge, so this rain is a blessing. I hope the cooler temps you say is heading east holds off.

1 hour north of Raleigh and multiple Tornados have rolled by.
  • @kellyyork3898
God, I hope fall comes early. We’ve been experiencing the 9th level of He$& in the Southeast.
  • @frankenstein70
We live in northern Indiana. Many trees have splashes of yellow leaves showing already. Earliest fall I've ever seen was 1962. All the leaves were down by late Sept.

Love the precipitation addition. I am in agriculture and it gives me a heads up on what to expect. Thanks!

I look for your graphics every day. Duncan, O.K. When my phone was lost, I missed most of all the weather maps and radar. Your input enhances my phone app. The two work together in a way that keeps me in close contact with the natural world that surrounds me.

Temperate is wonderful, just don’t get too cold. Cold is bad, too.

Yay stick it to the power company no air conditioning bill
  • Leaves are already changing colors and falling off the trees. 6 weeks early.
  • For the first time I agree with this guy's winter outlook for the Mid-Atlantic/ Northeast. The signs for a harsh winter have been on display for a long while now: 1 more clouds and all cloudy days than usual. Even for this area, it's had to get lots of clouds/ totally cloudy days in summer. 2-Heat continually being cut back by unusually cool air masses for a day or two and expanding in duration. 3-last Friday 8/2, cold front blew through the area with high winds and heavy rain showers, it was similar to the fronts blasting through in fall and early winter. 4-the next day featured thick low altitude stratus clouds all day and cool temps in the low and mid 70s-in August. 5-the current situation with the remnants of Debby, an upper level system from the north catches a storm from the south, pulling it westward and up the coast. Sound familiar, that is the setup for a Miller A snowstorm. 6 temperatures for the most part have split the country in half in a north/south orientation (cool north/ warm south)-I did not say arctic cold, I said cooler. Along that boundary may be the track storms will take this winter. I've trained through the NWS and have studied climate, charts, maps, and weather models for over 40 years. If these signs continue, it may be a winter that people will not be prepared for.
  • Told my Mom a mobth ago I saw signs of an early fall. Leaves yellowing early, squirels were busybearlier, and write spiders in late July. I am in Southeastern NC
