Replacing a crankshaft sensor in which the check engine light stated faulty and engine running rough. Should be the same throughout most models. Hope this video helps for a rapid repair. Thanks

Currently running this code on my ‘16 SE, as a young woman I’m glad I saw this video. Now I know the labor shouldn’t be sky high if it can be done under 10 mins 👏🏾👏🏾 good looking out!
  • Thanks for the video! The part number is 39180-2B000. I just did it on a 2013 GT. The design engineers should be made work on cars for a year to see how their designs affect the servicing of the vehicles. Man, the connector was a pain to remove from the metal guide. Also the lock tab. Laying on your back under the vehicle and trying to fit pliers in that tight tight space was a pain. If the engine compartment was 5 inches longer everything would have been so much more accessible. I dread they day when I have to work on the intake manifold at the back side of the engine...

First time fixing it i had a hard time taking it out since im scared of putting too much force and crush myself with the jack😂 but installing the new part was easy, this video was very helpful.
  • Thank you so much for this video! It saved me around 200 bucks!

One of the few videos showing where and how to replace the sensor for these cars. Thanks for making the video, it really helped!

For those doing this replacement, putting the car on ramps is much safer than jackstands. Then, if you remove the splash shield, which is very easy and fast to do, it makes it much easier to get the connector apart and off and back onto the post. Mando is the OE supplier of the sensor, and many parts supply houses carry this brand.

Çok teşekkür ederim emeğine sağlık harika bir bilgilendirme videosu olmuş

I miss just the plain old distributor shaft. Always worked, always. Modern day cars could leave the points and condenser out of course. It would make a perfect easily accessible no fail crankshaft position indicator.

Thanks alot man! It could saves me 100’s . How much that sensor is ?? I have elantra 2012 and its giving hard time. On the road the rpm gauge goes back to 0 and sometimes on the red lights the engine shuts off. Its so embarrassing when you have a line up of vehicles at your back and you cant even start your car. Much appreciate your help.
