1:30 honestly I love the Orion captainβs reaction. It feels like he was playing into his own stereotype because thats what everyone expected of him. He looks so grateful to be given the opportunity to break out of that stereotype.

I just love that last smile Pike gives to Boimler before he leaves. It's like: "You were an annoying problem to solve and a potential danger to space and time as we know it, but you know what, I didn't mind YOU so much as a person. You're alright kid." was communicated in that one expression.

I LOVE the ending! The writers KNEW we would want to see the SNW crew in animation form so instead of going through a weird nebula or some other sci-fi thingy, they thought "Everyone gets drunk and sees things in cartoon" LOL
-
2:48 What it looks like: Jack Ransom fanboying over Una. What it really is: Jerry O'Connell fanboying over his wife.
-
I just loved the Orions in this episode, they played the part of pirates but the second that Pike said that they were scientists the captain looked so thankful for it
-
Pike's reaction to Rutherford and Tendi time traveling is priceless. "Just....NO." he is so done with this shit π
-
Whoever thought of this crossover should get a raise!
-
This resolved happily thanks to...THOSE OLD SCIENTISTS and THESE ORION SCIENTISTS working together.
-
Mariner totally knew what she was doing when she dropped the Mistress of the Winter Constellation name in front of the Orions
-
I love this scene so much and love how much Boimler and Mariner were trying so hard to protect Tendi's ancestor while also using Tendi's given title to make the Orions trust them.
-
I loved Pike's reaction when he heard them asking if they should go through! "No!" π
-
That orion captain has so much potential. Wish there are more encounters of him
-
The ending with the Orionβs suggest that this whole thing was a predestination paradox. Boimler was always supposed to go back.
-
1:10 I donβt know why but hearing him confirm her ancestor is indeed on his ship gives me goosebumps.
-
Love that ending, "WHAT THE HELL IS IN THESE THINGS?!?"
-
"My eyes feel HUGE. Do my eyes look huge?" Blink Blink Just dying laughing.
-
I really do love how Boimler and Mariner have the same (or better) chemistry in this episode! The translation from animation to live action was flawless. I know it would have been gimmicky but I would've loved to see Captain Freeman or Rutherford and Tendi irl too π
-
I'm so happy they gave Babs Olusanmokun the final word on the episode, what a great hijinks episode and love letter to Trek.
-
"I feel like he doesn't listen." That was such a well delivered line

When season 1 of Lower Decks aired I immediately said that it's going to be a classic. And the more the show progresses the more I feel right about my initial statement. Very, very, well done.
