Redesigning Old Ocs | Part 2

Thank you everyone whose been enjoying this series! I don't have any plans to actually make a comic from any of these old stories as of now. I don't really make comics anymore and I am more focused on creating animations and animatics of newer stories as proof of concepts or pitches for possible actual TV shows. I like how the largest character is the one that flies.

Shima looks more like a tanuki, since they’re shades of brown brown and raccoons are black, grey and white. and linoone seems largely based off of ferrets, weasels and badgers, which is makes it funny she became raccoon/tanuki-like

if you ever feel like doing another redesign, a good solution to the ear problem would be putting the animal ears where human ears would go!

I like the bigger girl's look but I think like sandals or gladiator like sandals would tie more into the open and free looks since she's a bird.

I think it would've looked good if Enko had green eyes since most of the characters have darker eyes. Also the Pokemon the raccoon lady is based off actually looks more like a skunk to me haha

I just found this channel and.. I smell.. Almost there UNDERRATED

I literally thought enko was a flamingo because of the pink and orange legs in the original old design

I think for your first guy you would have got a few more apt outfit ideas if you'd looked for 'monk/pugilist' rather than just 'fighter' as the ones you took reference from are more sword fighters/weapon wielders and from your description your guy doesn't seem to really be in that ballpark... Less of a stabber, more of a puncher. Either way, I like what you put together. You have an interesting cast of characters.

wouldn’t the cool aloof badass be a rouge though ? i always stereotype paladins as stuck-up do-gooders, not really the aloof type lol
