I do not use ice cream because it makes the drink taste more like a milkshake; instead of a frappuccino!!! My favorite ingredients are heavy cream, vanilla bean powder and vanilla syrup, granulated sugar, two or three teaspoons of brewed coffee, a small amount of ice, and whipped cream for the topping!!! This is how I usually prepare my frapp drink... Coffee doesn't need to be added unless you want to! It's optional. Vanilla frappuccinos can be made without coffee. I try not to go extremely crazy with the ice because if you add too much; it can give the drink a chunky gritty slushy texture!!! When you're making frappuccinos, smoothies, and other beverages; the best blenders are the high speed kind!
