Published 2016-07-29

  • you guys should have used house wrap if you wanted a vapor barrier. house wraps allow moisture to breath out without letting any in.

Which sill gasket product did you go for? Is it a 10inch wide version?

Why did you seal the plywood to the plastic sheet? As I see it, you only wasted time and money and didn't get anything for it.

I have to raise my floor up inch to match another floor in my house on the main floor so I’m confused on the installation. Do I do base bottom plate/vapor barrier/plywood to raise floor/engineered hardwood or is it base bottom plate/plywood to raise up the floor/vapor barrier/engineered hardwood?
