He called you a rookie because he didn't want you to know his education level was minimum, it's called trucker IGNORANCE 🎉
  • @HatersGear365
23 years in trucking!!! We all have had our days... everyday we're learning!!! Keep doing your thang... u a BOSS!!!
  • I have been out here 42+ years and the fact that you have the since to not listen to this guy and hit the trailer, "YOU ARE PROFESSIONAL" and I thank you for that. keep truckin
  • @Snoogleheimer
Good on you girl. NEVER let someone talk you into doing something you feel is unsafe. Even your company. If something happens, they will act like they don't know you. I've been truckin for 40 years. Only person who cares about you is you. Believe it. 😉

You did the right thing hon. It's easy for folks to say what they would or wouldn't do. But at the end of the day, it's YOUR license and YOUR reputation that's at stake. Stay encouraged ❤

You are a classy, professional woman who knows her worth and has the skills and license to prove it. Stay safe and ignore the ignorant.

Your attitude shows you’re a professional driver . his attitude shows he’s not. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been driving for one year or twenty , having a good attitude and applying what you have learned as well as what you’re currently learning is what makes you a professional. Well done Slimepack

You are 100% right. It’s never ok to hit anything. He needs retrained.
  • That was a good call on your behalf ….stay safe out there and God bless you..🤓
  • In my opinion what you said is exactly what makes you a professional driver. Taking chances has nothing to do with it, it's not about how long you've driven it's about safety first always. Keep up the good work 👏 🙌

You did the RIGHT thing......using your common judgment will win everytime. You're responsible for your 🚚 truck.
  • @jazzyjaii44
Ma’am you are a professional! You carry that license to prove it. Everyday is a learning experience for everyone. Stay safe 🙏🏾
  • @bizzlight7593
YOU are the CAPTAIN!! YOU make the calls that you feel comfortable with. At the end of the day they can say whatever but, the only person responsible for it is you. So keep DOING WHAT YOU FEEL!!!
  • You're handling your business and navigating your truck just fine continue to be blessed
  • Be very careful because you still need to realize there is a lot of people out there who don't want to see you driving a truck or have a successful trucking career. And they would do anything to cause you to have an accident . Some of them will see you leaving your truck and pull your kingpin and snatch out your airlines or across your airlines. And sometime if you get men's and some of the females out there very eager to help you to back up are do something be very careful they'll let you back into something and then tell you sweetie you should have turned your steering wheel the other way I was telling you to turn it the other way. Plus when they talking about Rookie remind them they was a rookie before they got their experience nobody fell out of the womb driving the truck you have to get training you have to work years to gain your experience every body has to do that. Always be careful out there. Try to keep a can of maze pepper spray and a hand size Hammer you can get those at Walmart or any hardware store. Be safe out there.
  • @Ricantrucker
U driving a truck and making right decisions makes u a professional driver...Don't ever let no one tell u that your not....Stay positive
  • @Jaquez334
You made the right choice, no one can determine your comfort levels, your the captain of the ship. I’ve been trucking going on 9 years and currently a owner op and I still don’t feel the need to prove anything to no other driver. Ego and pride are dangerous in trucking, had you hit that trailer and someone saw it, that guy would have left you hanging. So I’m proud of how you handled that, keep it up and hope to pass you on the road one day.

He's jealous that you are doing so well, you have all ready proven your self you don't have to answer to him. You took his advise where did it get you it didn't work. When you got out to check it out like you said you couldn't go any further you would of hit which apparently he wanted you to do. You could give him a bit of advise, get a belt to pull up his pants his blue underwear is not making a fashion statement. Keep on trucking girl your doing great setting a good example for males as well as females. Thanks for sharing, you are appreciated.
