i agree with a lot of what you said, but i think you missed a critical point. when you made that metaphor with water and formlessness, you attributed this property to changing and evolving as you please, but i think that isnt great advice. i think adaptability in this case means "dont put labels on yourself". take those answers that you wrote at the beginning and burn them, but dont write down new ones. ugly or attractive, you shouldnt pinpoint an answer for yourself, that would limit your potential. you arent attractive, you arent ugly, you simply are. formless like water. wanting and actively seeking to become something specific like good looking or funny will make you lose your formlessness, it will define you and lock you into the mindset you were trying to escape. maleability in this case should mean ever-changing, not simply able to change.

mmm, so, i feel this stuff should somewhat be mentioned: Firstly, genetics. Now, youll never be incapable of looking at least pretty good, or getting in shape, but it is worth understanding that your genes will make some things harder than you. some people gain weight slower than others, such as myself. For years ive eaten unhealthily, but i am only now starting to put on a little weight. Secondly, those habits are damn important. Positive reinforcement is important, and i genuinely encourage it, but please remember it isnt everything! Luck, circumstance, and a million things out of your control will jerk your life out of your hands, and you have to play catch up sometimes. I didnt finish this video, buuuut i thought i should say some stuff. There are some people who claim that all you need is hard work. And while it can certainly do a lot, it will never, ever, be a guarentee. It will increase your chances dramatically, but just remember- Sometimes, the universe decides to knee you in the balls.
