i love how they're told basically nothing about the game and yet still are able to figure out the game's main idea of customizing styles
  • @meetshah
I would actually like to see them play absolver instead..they seemed interested in that
  • @donjon5442
Yo anyone who hasn’t played it should give Absolver a chance, hella underrated
  • @thedenseone6443
I stopped playing Absolver a while ago. Not because it’s bad, it’s actually really good, I’m just really bad at it lmao
  • @TydeForseti
“I wonder if you can feint in this game.” Me: “He literally just did that!!!”
  • @DizzNutt93
Absolver is definitely worth playing. Very underrated game.
  • Fully customizable mix and match fighting system that was definitely fun to play around with, sadly people would often gang up on you in the open world.
  • YESSSSS!! Finally! To give some info. In Absolver, you fight different opponents to learn their attacks. After learning the strikes and kicks, you can change your fighting style with countless different moves.
  • What I love most about Absolver is the random encounters you can have with other players. It always brings a smile to my face when me and someone else just have an unspoken truce whenwe have an enemy in our screen, but we could request to fight soon after. Never have I met a person to didn't revive me after they defeat me. It's so wholesome.

Fun fact: at 7:53 the green guy is called "il glorioso mutandone" which means "the glorious big underwear" in italian lol

a few things that made me fall in love with Absolver: 1: the fact that (last i checked) the dev's did a LOT of research into each style available in the game to make them as accurate to the fighting style IRL 2: the pure customization in both how you deck out your character and how you manage your characters combat deck, you get full control over selecting the different moves from different styles that you want to use, if a move is able to chain into another move you can set it regardless if one attack is drunken then kung-fu then back to drunken, doesnt matter you get full control aslong as the attacks are able to chain (up to from memory 4 in a chain per each of the 4 stances (the bottom middle theres a sorta diamond broken into 4 sections with RT over it, thats the stance changer) and you can freely switch to different stances to continue your chain and 3: the mastery levels, as in if you practice a lot and work on timing and the right moves you can master your custom or even preset (as in choosing only drunken fist or only wing chun or whatever floats your boat) moveset then you would 99% of the time have the upper hand, I cannot count how many times in pve and pvp i was able to kick peoples teeth in because id spent time learning and practicing the timing on my moves (youll notice some attacks dont have an effect while others have this golden glow, thats the perfect timing marker, it means you hit the attack button as the last hit landed perfectly chaining your attack, i think it does a little more damage, uses less stamina and deals more stamina dmg) a side note is the reason those guys didnt do a lot of blocking was because they are obviously highly skilled players you tend to want to use your abilities or dodges (i cant remember if you can parry by timing your attack right or not, its been a WHILE since i played) rather than blocking because once youre out of stamina you cant block, dodge, use abilities or obviously attack leaving you vulnerable until you have enough stamina to fight back, stamina management was one of the most important things in the game aside from setting up the perfect moveset ofc

Still waiting on Def Jam: Fight for NY; Snoop Dogg's moveset alone they would absolutely love.
  • All the moves are pretty cool and they're relatively high tier but like... No one showed them the most superior move in the entire game... The Calbot.

My favorite part about this game is that there isn't a definitive "fighting style". You can quite literally create your own . You have to defeat other people with moves you want to learn so that you can also learn them as well. There's more than a hundred of different and unique moves you can learn that allow you to adjust your fighting style to your liking. Sadly the story mode is pretty short and can be completed in about 6-8 hours, so that led to a loss of players.
  • In Absolver the player can create a character and build it's own moveset by "absorbing" damage from it's oponents but the game indeed have some preset fighting styles that you can mix and match however you want

Please, we beg of you, make a part 2 to Martial Artists react to Yakuza 0. We need to see their reactions to Majima
  • @Ernesto.-
This is the first game i fully completed and it has a special place in my heart
  • This has got to be probably my favorite "fighting" game that came out in 2017. It's so intuitive and it is honestly the perfect game if you grew up on kung fu movies back in the day. Sadly, not many people stuck to it. I hope more people find this game soon.
