Why can't all math teachers simplify things like this. It seems like the teachers at my school took pleasure in confusing everybody.

The narrator's voice is so soothing that I fell asleep. This guy can cure insomnia
  • Studying for the ASVAB, don't know what I'd do without your videos. Seriously, bless you for putting up quality education content for those of us who do not have access to personal tutors or instructors.

  • Thanks so much my guy! My teacher takes more than 45 minutes explaining super easy math like it’s REALLY HARD math, but you simplifying it makes it so much better 🤩

    I have a cool technique for percentages of large numbers. I divide numbers into their tens, hundreds, thousands etc. constituents, apply the percentage to each one, them sum the results. So to do 20% of 1485 (composed of 1000, 400, 80 and 5), I do: (20% of 1000) + (20% of 400) + (20% of 80) + (20% of 5) = 200 + 80 + 16 + 1 = 297
