Some of the old photos might be disturbing for some viewers. Unfortunately human nature and our history has a bad reputation. Thus when memorating some events, our ancestors had to take pictures of war, torture or unfortunate events.

This is the first video I've seen from you. Very interesting and informative. I'll be 66 soon. I've seen a lot in my lifetime. My Dad, who was my hero and the best man I've ever known. He was intelligent and had more integrity than anyone I've known. I never saw him angry and he was hilarious. He enlisted in WWII at 17 with his first cousin who was his best friend. I can't imagine my son, at 17, enlisting in a horrific war. Dad was in sick bay and his cousin left on their ship. It was hit by a plane. He died diving in to save lives. I'm named for him, although I'm a woman. His name was altered to fit. I have a few photos of Dad during WWII. That generation never complained. He didn't talk much about serving in the Navy, most didn't. He came home, enrolled in College, FBI Academy and Police Academy. He served for 28 yrs, 11 as Chief. I felt a bit sorry for him. Raising five kids in the 60s and 70s during the "higher" times. He knew I was a stoner for a time and was cool with it. The only thing he said to me was "just remember my job and be careful". I miss him so.

I’m glad this wasn’t stopped by YouTube we as humans have a right to pick and chose what we want to see or not see , not some person in an office of YouTube making decisions for people

Thank you for sharing a part of history good and bad! The Chinese foot binding was so sad and horrific those poor women!

I agree this ( all) world history should be taught in schools. Students would gain more appreciation for America 🇺🇸 5:55

Thank-you so much! Beautiful work, Provocative, bittersweet while also reflective of where we have been. Subscribed.
  • Mr. Rogers at that little girl's bedside 🥲 that's my memories and my ethics formed in my childhood in the 70's. ❤

The human tragedies here are awful. Man's inhumanity to man. Just as sickening was the staggering amount of bison bones. Those beautiful animals being slaughtered so people could buy tea sets. I had no idea. Man's inhumanity to animals.

I really liked the Krumpus picture with the little girl! I see where the Grinch came from now. These pictures remind me of the absurdity of or existence, and the juxtaposition of trying to live as long as we can, in this horror. God bless the poor souls affected by the evil of which they had no part. Except Krampus...

The departure of a Red Cross train going to Switzerland, Budapest, Hungary, 1947 (6:06) My mother who is Hungarian went to Switzerland as a young girl and stayed with a very kind family for about three or four months. Many Hungarian children were sent to Switzerland after WWII.

Some very interesting photos. Thanks for showing and being respectful in tone about the horrors that are shown

I really think some one should hold a public display in holland of those skinny children of 1945 to show what might happen to us modern people because of the WEF, you know that Klaus clown,. The eradiction of thousand of farm animals, the fact that the Dutch are super farmers. This is what they want to happen again. We must never forget. the evil of people. Some really interesting photos.
  • @amhunter7556
I found myself shaking my head at an awful lot of those photos, but the two that shocked me most were the children with their World War l trench, and the children with the guillotine - We don't learn from our mistakes, do we? We just allow our children to play games about them.
  • @Marybaeza-gt7cz
Wow out of all of this what got me was I didn't know Nintendo was that old!
