O ano era 1992, tinha 11 anos de idade e fazia a antiga 6ª Série. Lembro-me, nitidamente como hoje, acordando as 6h da manhã, a minha mãe preparando o café, enquanto o meu pai, eu e meus dois irmãos nos arrumávamos para ir à escola. Enquanto isso ligávamos a TV e não havia começado nenhuma programação, apenas algumas colunas de listras coloridas na tela e várias músicas tocando ao fundo. Dentre essas músicas uma se destacava para mim e era exatamente a música Always do Atlantic Starr. Guardei essa música no meu coração de criança, pois achei ela simplesmente linda. Na minha adolescência encontrei esta música tocando na rádio e gravei numa fita cassete. De lá pra cá se passaram 31 anos desde que eu conheci essa obra de arte musical e ainda hoje permanece sendo uma das canções mais lindas do mundo. Muito obrigado, Atlantic Starr, por fazer parte da minha vida de uma maneira muito especial.

I was born in 1982 and this song is nailed in my childhood. A beautiful air of nostalgia kicks I when I hear even just the intro of this song. I feel blessed to have been born in this era.
